Bio: Mr. Galloway lives in Vero Beach, Florida with his wife, two daughters, and one son. He graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Education from Palm Beach Atlantic College in West Palm Beach. He also has a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Ashland University in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Galloway is in his 26th year in education and has taught Social Studies in grades six through twelve, fifth grade, and sixth grade Science and ELA. He has been a high school assistant principal, elementary principal and middle school principal. He is currently the assistant principal at Odyssey Preparatory Academy and the Athletic Director at Odyssey Charter Jr/Sr High School.

Bio: Ms. Cummings is a Palm Bay native. She became the proud mama to a baby girl in May, at the end of last school year. After 5 years in the classroom, Ms. Cummings has transitioned into the role of Literacy Coach. This is her first year as a coach and is eager to assist teachers with providing quality lessons for the students. She has taught grades 1st-3rd. This is her 4th year at OPA.  Ms. Cummings graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education as well as endorsements in reading and ESOL. She is also in her 3rd year as the Athletic Director for OPA. This year she assumes the role of ESOL contact. She is looking forward to expanding her educational repertoire!

Certification: Alexis Rotstein is a graduate of University of Central Florida in 2009 with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor is Exceptional Education. She is currently certified to teach K-6, ESE K-12 and is Reading Endorsed and ESOL Endorsed.
Bio: Mrs. Brancaccio lives in Indian Harbour Beach with her husband and two sons. She has taught grades 1-5. Mrs. Brancaccio attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2000. Her teaching career started in Broward County where she taught for 4 years before moving with her family to Brevard County. She has worked in both the public and private sector. Mrs. Brancaccio taught 1st/2nd grade at the flagship campus, and is now the Instructional Coach at OPA.

Bio: Ms. MacGilvray began her career in 1993 on the beautiful North Shore of Boston as a Preschool/Kindergarten teacher at a private Montessori school. After 8 years, she moved to Florida and continued her career as a Montessori educator, teaching grades 1st – 3rd. For the last several years, Ms. MacGilvray has utilized her Montessori experience to help remediate students in grades K-5, as well as train classroom teachers on implementing the Montessori Method into their classrooms and develop teaching materials.

Bigwood, Meghan
Bio: Ms. Bigwood grew up in Palm Bay, Florida. She earned her BS in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from University of Florida in 2006 and her MS in Educational Leadership from SUNY Buffalo in 2014. She has lived all over the country and explored numerous other countries. Prior to taking on the role of Science Resource Teacher, Ms. Bigwood taught Science and Math at the 5th and 6th grade level here at OPA and served as the Lead Teacher for 2nd grade and 5th grade while teaching abroad. Her passion for all things science makes her the perfect fit to bring that love to the students of OPA.
